Original Frame-Making Workshop by Takayama Picture Frame Shop
Since its establishment in 1946, Takayama Picture Frame Shop has specialized in custom frames in Naka-ku, Nagoya City, and boasts the largest selection of frames in the region. In this special workshop, guided by skilled craftsmen, participants will have the opportunity to create their own original frames.
Choose your preferred frame and experience key steps in the framing process, such as cutting the glass cover and assembling the final piece.
This rare opportunity offers a deeper insight into the world of picture framing and the artistry behind it. We invite you to immerse yourself in this hands-on experience and appreciate the craftsmanship firsthand.

On the day, some of the hotel facilities will be turned off or reduced in lighting between 20:30 and 21:30 to help reduce electricity consumption to prevent global warming.

樹齢約40年の山採りの桜の木に造花の花びらを組み合わせて作られた美しいオブジェは、

The lobby is transformed into a fantastical space with cherry blossoms and digital art.
With the cooperation of Hitohata Inc., a digital creative company founded in Nagoya and now based in Tokyo, Osaka, and Milan, the "Flowers and Digital Art Installation - Spring" is currently being held in the lobby on the first floor.
This beautiful object is made by combining artificial flower petals with a 40-year-old cherry tree grown in the mountains.
You can enjoy watching the cherry blossoms bloom day by day, expressing the beauty of the changing seasons.
The cherry tree will be replanted after the exhibition, making it a sustainable piece that will continue to live.
Projection mapping, carefully tailored to match the objects, creates the effect of spring sunlight filtering through the leaves and sparkling lights, and at night it emits an even more fantastical glow.
Please enjoy the changing beauty of spring, with different effects during the day and at night.

ロビーが桜とデジタルアートが織り成す幻想的な空間に
名古屋で設立以来東京・大阪・ミラノを拠点とするデジタルクリエイティブカンパニー、株式会社一旗のご協力のもと、1階ロビーにて「花とデジタルアートインスタレーション -春-」を開催中です。
樹齢約40年の山採りの桜の木に造花の花びらを組み合わせて作られた美しいオブジェは、
日ごとに桜が開花する様子が楽しめ、移ろう季節の美しさを表現。
桜の木は展示後に植え直され、命を紡いでいくサステナブルな作品となっています。
