Arimatsu has a history of over 400 years. — The connection between Wakamiya Hachiman Shrine and Arimatsu — Floats and hotei floats car pulled out for the Arimatsu Festival were handed over to Arimatsu from Tamaya-cho (now Naka-ku Nishiki) in 1891.
